Bloodhound

Bloodhound is known among dog lovers as a large and powerful breed, famous for its exceptional sense of smell used in tracking scents. Director Jason Richard Miller seems to have connected deeply with this trait, as we follow the main character, Detective Abel Walker (played by Ed Ackerman), while he investigates a case. Abel Walker is a passionate but somewhat unsuccessful detective who records all the cases he works on from start to finish. One evening, while filming a philandering husband, the wife unexpectedly appears and takes her own life instead of confronting her spouse. Abel’s footage of this event goes viral, bringing him sudden fame. He hires a cameraman and sets off on a new investigation. Lee Brady (Jess Allen) contacts Abel, worried about his ex-wife’s persistent phone calls, and hires him to find her. Together with his new cameraman Jim Ridley (David Foy), Abel begins the search. However, the situation quickly becomes more complicated than anticipated. Although the film’s action sequences may feel a bit lacking, the thrilling chase scenes stand out and deliver excitement. Miller also succeeds in engaging the audience from the opening scene, smoothly drawing viewers into the story. If you enjoy detective stories, this film is definitely worth watching. Enjoy the movie!
